Summer 2018

This past summer I had the opportunity to spend a month in Italy on a study abroad trip. It was the opportunity of a lifetime and definitely changed my life for the better. We were based in a small town called Orvieto in north-central Italy. The program was art history based so we spent plenty of time in museums and churches across central Italy. To some people, that may sound boring, but as an art student, it was amazing to see so many pieces that I’ve been studying and admiring for years. One of my favorite parts was the atmosphere Orvieto had; the people were so inviting, the wine was amazing, the view was spectacular, and there were always plenty of festivities to fill my free time.  After living there for a month, I could have easily stayed for two more. I have always loved to travel so being able to spend an entire month traveling across Italy was a dream come true. Below I attached a few pictures I took with my 35mm camera on a cloudy day overlooking lower Orvieto.
